About Us
To break down barriers and build bridges—supporting neurodiverse individuals to thrive in education, employment, and everyday life.
About Us
Neurodiversity Support CIC is a not-for-profit, community-focused organisation led by people with lived experience of neurodiversity and disability. Founded in Leicester, we’ve proudly served Leicestershire and Rutland for over four years—supporting children, young people, and families to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
We believe that neurodiversity isn’t a problem to be fixed—it’s a difference to be understood, embraced, and celebrated. Our approach is person-centred, inclusive, and practical, offering support that’s tailored to real needs and real lives.
Our Approach
We’re not here to “fix” people — we’re here to listen, support, and uplift.
Our team includes people who’ve walked this path — we understand, because we’ve been there.
We support emotional, social, and practical needs — not just one aspect of life.
We work alongside parents, carers, and siblings to ensure support works for everyone.
We’re connected to the people we serve and adapt based on their real-world needs.
Neurodiversity Support CIC was born out of a simple but powerful idea: that lived experience is expertise. After seeing the gaps in support for neurodivergent individuals in our own lives, we came together to build something different — something community-led, practical, and genuinely person-centred.
Based in Leicester, we’ve been serving families across Leicestershire and Rutland for over four years. What started as a small hub has grown into a vital local resource — one that offers mentoring, advocacy, learning opportunities, and emotional support to people of all ages.
In that time, we’ve supported over 40 families, helped young people access employment and education, and built safe spaces where being neurodivergent isn’t something to hide — it’s something to celebrate.
One Goal. One vision
A world where neurodivergent people are accepted, supported, and empowered — in school, at work, and in their communities.
We envision a society that values difference and provides the right environments for everyone to thrive — not just those who fit the mould.
